Our mission is to create a platform to raise the voices and expertise of younger people. We are a research-oriented think-tank that aims to produce scholarship for practical policy implementation.
In doing so, we want to give a new generation of scholars – students, recent graduates and young academics – the chance to continue and deepen their research, without having to pass the usual hurdles of the established academic world.
Nonetheless, INSOCH and its people ensure all academic standards and scientific rigour at all times. Whether at conferences, in research projects, publications or science communication: young age does not stand in the way of fruitful and reliable academic conduct.
Quite to the contrary, we believe that it is especially the younger generations, whose brain-power, creativity and perspectives are needed to help solve some of the world's most pressing and complicated challenges.
The Institute for Societal Change is a foundation registered in The Hague under Dutch law as Stichting Institute for Societal Change.
